5th Annual World Aids Day Gala Concert

Grammy award winning, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, lend their voices to World Aids Day

This event is formal with a touch of red and is the biggest event on the African continent commemorating 21 years of World Aids Day. The event has been hosted since 2005 by the Africa Centre for HIV/AIDS Management at Stellenbosch University.

This year, Ladysmith Black Mambazo joins American born singer Jimmie Earl Perry to celebrate this 5th Annual World Aids Day Gala Concert. Perry is both producer and director of this event and as a former broadway performer he will bring something special to this event. Joseph Shabalala, the lead vocal of Ladysmith is delighted to join this project and to collaborate on such a necessary event to continue the fight against HIV/Aids
